Sentosa Island Tour

Batu Caves (en-route-Genting Highland)

Batu Caves, High on a sacred hill sit this series of grottoes and galleries: the most famous Hindu sanctuary outside India. To reach the interior of the caves, you'll have to climb 272 steps: but this effort is worth it, with the caves themselves lined with sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses, each one stunning in its careful ornamentation. Then, as we descend again we'll learn about the story of the great Murugan golden statue. This colossal sculpture of the god of war and victory, 42 meters high, bears a miraculous story, constructed as it was upon hilly terrain. A marvel in itself! (20 Minute photo stop)
