En route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage | Dambulla
This Elephant orphanage was started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including Baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding program. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by then visit the Dambulla Cave temple.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa; commonly known as the is a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Ever since the 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess’ hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. 147 acres in extent; Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy. There are more than 5,000 species of trees, plants, and creepers. Some rare and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world are found in the gardens. Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with tourists. 5 Palm Avenues are beautifying the gardens, the earliest and tallest Palm Avenue (Royal Palm Avenue) was planted in 1905 and the Double Coconuts from Seashells Island, with the largest seed of all plants in the world, is one such avenue.
After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda. En-route visit the Hanuman Temple & Ramboda Falls
Arrive at Nuwara Eliya and go for a City Tour. (Catholic Church - 18-hole golf course – Old Post office – Strawberry farm – Gregory Lake (Without Activities) Optional: Victoria Park. Stay at Nuwara Eliya
According to the ancient stories, Ramboda is an area, where the forces of Rama gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman which is visited by thousands of devotees every year. This temple houses a 16-foot-high statue of Hanuman.
It is 109 m (358 ft) high the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in the Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It was formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The altitude of the falls is 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.

Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but here you can read them by the flowers, which bloom in the spring (March to May) and the fall (August and September). These are the “seasons” when low-country folk flock to Nuwara Eliya to escape the sea-level heat and humidity.
After the breakfast, proceed to Bentota. En route visit the St. Clair’s Falls and the Devon Falls. Optional: Kithulgala White water rafting.
Devon Falls, known as the 'Veil of the Valley'. Falls is named after a pioneer English coffee planter called Devon, whose plantation was situated near the falls. Devon Waterfalls is one of the must-visit tourist spots in Nuwara Eliya
Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, the centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis's Brief Garden.

Kosgoda is famous for its sea turtle conservation project operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1988 to protect Sri Lanka’s turtles from extinction. Since then it has released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the wild. The hatchery pays fishermen for eggs that they collect at night along the long sandy beach. Although October to April is the main laying season, some eggs (mostly green turtles) can be found at Kosgoda throughout the year. The hatchery buries the eggs in sand, and when they hatch around 50 days later the baby turtles are released into the sea at night. Only about one in 1,000 turtles survive to maturity. Kosgoda turtle hatchery also has tanks for injured or disabled turtles, including albino turtles that would not survive in the wild.
